Due to the pandemic and subsequent quarenteen, our April workshop with the GoodCheer was canceled. Now due to social distancing and such, workshops are still being cancelled or postponed. So I just decided to build the oven for the Goodcheer food bank garden! This particular oven will be fired up to support and feed a hungry group of volunteers. So, it was the right thing to do and I feel really good about it! The GoodCheer folks where most thankful and gracious and I appreciate all the help and support from the garden volunteers and workers.
So, if you have time or are interested, or if your driving by-come check it out, or better yet-come have a slice of pizza! The oven is situated in view of the road (Bayview rd.) and in the garden literally! It’s a beautiful oven and I have high hopes for its functionality-it may be the best one yet!
